This thought can be helpful or it can create scarcity. Check in with your body for the answer.

If you feel overwhelmed or anxious then youโ€™re creating scarcity for you. This shows up for many women in their parenting journey. Telling yourself โ€œ๐‘กโ„Ž๐‘’๐‘ฆ’๐‘Ÿ๐‘’ ๐‘œ๐‘›๐‘™๐‘ฆ ๐‘™๐‘–๐‘ก๐‘ก๐‘™๐‘’ ๐‘œ๐‘›๐‘๐‘’” can help you justify not taking care of your own needs. But that is not sustainable nor nourishing.

The way we show up for ourselves also reflects in the way we show up for others.

We think itโ€™s the opposite, I can take care of everyone as long as I sacrifice myself. This method sets you up to FAIL. Over time resentment and exhaustion is built.

At the end you are left with no gratitude and appreciation for the life that you worked so hard to build.

Being fluid at work and with our loved ones comes natural for many of us. But, being fluid in committing to self care is a struggle.

It will feel uncomfortable AND you can still prioritize it.

You donโ€™t need to feel comfortable to block your schedule to workout, go for a walk, catch up with a friend, or read a book.

Allow yourself to feel uncomfortable because it will pass.

This takes away the power it holds over you.

At the end, you are nourished and then you nourish others without feeling scarcity.

This is the coaching I gave one of my alum clients.

I know many of you can relate. You could say it’s second nature to just your own culture that makes this coaching resonate.

It’s time to crack down on the sneaky thoughts NOW. The longer you believe them, the longer it takes to detach from them. But it’s not impossible. I promise!

What a gift these ladies gave themselves at yesterday’s session. I am currently working with some of them privately already.
